Petey’s Playground Resource Center
The Petey’s Playground Resource Center is the heart of our rescue operation - a place where care, compassion, and community come together under one roof. Our Resource Center houses the Petey’s Playground office space, cat kennels, and a play area for cats, giving us a safe and welcoming place to care for animals while they wait for their forever homes. It is also where we help connect adopters, fosters, volunteers, and supporters with the resources they need.
Pet Essentials, Chews & Toys
In addition to supporting our rescue efforts, the Resource Center offers a variety of pet essentials and accessories, including leashes, collars, harnesses, crates, cat and dog toys, chews, and other helpful supplies for pet owners in our community.
On-Site Pet Grooming by Kandace
We are now taking grooming appointments. Kandace is available every Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Be sure to book your appointment in advance and don’t forget to reserve your spot. Call 928-671-8084 to schedule.
On-Site Do-It-Yourself Pet Wash
One of the most popular features of the Resource Center is our Do-It-Yourself Pet Wash, a convenient way for local pet owners to bathe their dogs without the mess at home. It is a practical service that helps support the rescue while also giving pet families another reason to stop in and visit.
Leave a Lasting Tribute With an Engraved Brick
Support the Petey’s Playground Resource Center with the purchase of an engraved brick for $35. Brick order forms are available at the Resource Center. Each brick will become part of a special tribute area at Petey’s Resource Center, where supporters can honor the memory of a beloved pet, family member, or friend. A shade tree will be added later, creating a peaceful place of remembrance and support. These bricks are more than just part of the building - they are lasting reminders of the love people have for their pets, their families, and the mission of Petey’s Playground.
