We primarily serve seniors in Yarnell, North Ranch, Congress, Peeples Valley, Kirkland, Wilhoit, Skull Valley, and the surrounding rural areas. Our mission is focused on helping seniors preserve the bond they share with their pets.

We provide temporary pet care during medical emergencies, help seniors find the right companion animal, offer support with behavioral concerns, and assist with rehoming pets when an owner can no longer care for them.

No. There is no charge for our services. Petey’s Playground is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization funded by private donations.

If a senior experiences a medical emergency, we may be able to provide short-term care or housing for their pet. If the owner is unable to return to their previous living situation, we can also help find the pet a safe and loving new home.

There are many ways to help, including donating, corporate and local business sponsorship, fostering, volunteering, and spreading the word about our mission. Community support helps us continue serving pets and the people who love them.
