Pet Fostering
If extra time and space in your home is what you have, Petey’s Playground could use you as a foster home. Some animals need fostering for only a few days, while others need a little more time until they find their permanent home.
Why Fostering Matters
Foster homes are one of the most important parts of Petey’s Playground. We could never take in and help as many animals through our small local rescue without foster homes available when they are needed most. What fosters learn about the animals in their care helps us find the best possible match. A foster home gives an animal time to decompress, feel safe, and begin the next chapter of life in a loving environment.

Fostering lets you make a direct difference without a long-term commitment. You help an animal feel safe, recover from stress, and prepare for a brighter future. In many cases, fosters give Petey’s Playground the insight needed to match the animal with the right forever family.
What Is a Hospice Foster?
Many senior animals arrive with medical conditions or other special needs that can make traditional adoption difficult. Rather than repeatedly disrupting their lives, these animals may enter what we call a hospice foster or forever foster home.
